Trinity Church
Beginning with a small group of Anglicans, the Trinity Church was eventually established on Wall Street in 1698. New York's Royal Governor, Benjamin Fletcher granted a charter to make the church official on behalf of King James III. Come see our parishes and church grounds that face toward the Hudson Valley.
Bowling Green Park
It is recognized as the city’s oldest public park. The green serves as a gathering place for residents and is used for activities such as bowling, public meetings, and military ceremonies. Also on select days: Market and Parade grounds.
The First Printing Press on Stone Street
Stone Street is the first paved street New Amsterdam and the home of our first printing press! The press makes it possible to produce newspapers locally, helping ideas travel faster among residents and businesses. Its presence on Stone Street brings together printers, writers, apprentices, and customers, turning the area into an active center for publishing and public discussion.
